Winemaker Melissa Bates Notes

Our succulent 2007 Central Coast Merlot is primarily sourced from
the Hames Valley, located at the southern tip of Monterey County.
To enhance the structure and flavor complexity we blended in small
amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon from San Benito County and Paso
Robles, along with a dash of Petite Sirah from the Hames Valley.
The result is a delectable red wine with fragrant black cherry, plum,
rose petal, cola and sweet oak aromas and layers of sumptuous dark fruit
flavors complemented by savory oak tones and a ripe, jammy finish.
