Winemaker Ray Coursen Notes

Our A.K.A. Zinfandel is blended from two distinctive benchland vineyards – one in St. Helena and the other in Rutherford.
The 2007 A.K.A. Zinfandel has intriguing aromas of wild berries, Asian spice, spicy peppers, and hints of soy sauce that lead to explosive flavors of black raspberries, dark plums, goji berries, and suggestions of mushrooms and earth. This heady wine is richly textured with intense fruit flavors, smooth tannins, and a pleasantly long finish.
This is a wine to pair with rich, hearty dishes and should cellar well for 5 to 8 years.
