Winemaker Jon Phillips Notes
I love this small family vineyard located in North West Santa Rosa. I use the same grapes from this vineyard to produce a Pinot Noir for one of my clients. What's awesome about this opportunity is that I can use different barrels during the aging process, produce a blend that fits my profile and then only bottle what I need for my production goals before assembling the blend for my client. This allows me to produce a unique wine with complexity.
Tasting Notes: You’ll find full flavors of black cherry, ceder and strawberries with an earthiness and hints of tar, tobacco and leather that makes this wine seductive and as alluring as those Pinot specimens found across the sea in France.
