Winemaker Don & Jesse Lange Notes

Our 2009 Reserve Pinot Noir is the result of extensive and dedicated barrel tasting by our winemakers, Don Lange and Jesse Lange. Comprised of the most complex and delicious wines in the cellar, this multivineyard Pinot noir is consistently crafted for lush fruit character, seamless balance, and elegance.
A bright garnet hue, this wine expresses notes of strawberry jam, red cherry, black tea, dried rose petal, and a current of flint on the nose. An approachable, silky palate reveals lively red cherry, candied apple, pomegranate, and a hint of Amaretto. Finishing with soft barrel spice and mild tannins, this exceptionally balanced Pinot noir is a proud example of a finely-crafted Lange Estate wine.
