Frog's Tooth Vineyards
Now officially located in Copperopolis, and nestled in the Salt Springs Reservoir Valley…Frog's Tooth Vineyards began to take shape in 1999, with the purchase of 67 acres. A natural spring swells to create a small frog pond in the interior of the vineyard where we originally planted 4 unique varietals and have recently grafted 3 new ones. Numerous wine awards followed as we continued to make our own grapes into wine, plus supplementing with the purchase of local area fruit. We have been fortunate to concentrate on the varietals that grow best in our region. Our vineyard features: Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc along with Grenache, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Shiraz and Barbera. 18 wines entered in 3 major competitions winning 18 medals.
