Brixage Wheel Decoder!

Our wheel is just one way we try to be clear and simple. Below is a brief
description of how we define the values you see on the wheel. A higher
number generally indicates a greater intensity of the characteristic. We are
different in that we use multiple tasters for all our wines, and also combine
chemistry so that perception and reality are joined as much as possible.

Understanding Balance. Much like life, wine is best when elements are in
balance. Having Acid and Tannins, and Oak influence in balance for most red
wines, is a good thing. Whites/Rose wines should not be overly acidic, yet
sugar and nice fruit can balance that aspect very nicely.

Good wine or great wine? Important to note are that COMPLEXITY and
FINISH are the items that truly differentiate a good wine from a great one.
